Trims, engine and performance

The 2022 Honda Civic is available in 8 trim levels:

While the base LX trims are the most pocket-friendly options, they lack certain features that are available as standard on the higher trims.  The standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 158 HP, while there's an available 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine as well. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. However, you can opt for a six-speed manual transmission if you purchase one of the hatchback trims.


Interior

The interior's design is streamlined, and the center console is not as cluttered as previous years' Civic models. Both cargo and passenger space on offer is similar to what Honda had provided on the 2021 Civic.

Infotainment

The standard infotainment system features a 7" touchscreen. However, you can purchase an optional 9" touchscreen as well, along with a digital gauge display measuring 10.2". Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility is standard across all trim levels. Other available infotainment features include a wireless charging pad, a Bose sound system, and in-dash navigation.

Safety features
